Calling Jonathan Zarate an "evil, vile, despicable killer," a judge on Friday sentenced the former Garfield resident to a prison term of life plus 24 years for the 2005 murder and dismemberment of Randolph teenager Jennifer Parks.
The sentence imposed by Judge Salem V. Ahto in Superior Court in Morristown requires that Zarate, now 21, serve at least 84 years in prison before he is eligible for parole.See the full content of this document
