The only Mountie returning from the trio is senior 103-pounder Jaishon Scott, who was the runner-up to Mike DeMarco of St. Mary's in Region 4 last winter.

Wrestling [Corrected 12/17/06] ; Around the Leagues

Paramus: First-year head coach Steve Klass takes over a program that returns three district champs and four more place winners from the second-ranked team in North Jersey last year. The Spartans will be led by district champ and region second Dan Zotollo, who went 32- 7 last year, and district champ Adam Koziol, who just missed a State tournament berth with a fourth-place finish in the region. Four other wrestlers finished with at least 20 wins.

Teaneck: After returning to county prominence with 15 wins last year, the Highwaymen are looking to improve behind State place winner Randy Martinez (Hwt.) and district champions E.J. Martin (103- 112) and Drew Orapello (125-130). Seniors Matt Fontanez (160) and Juan Sanchez (152) also placed in the district for the Highwaymen, who hope to be competitive in the league and send even more wrestlers to the region.
