Woman Gets Prison Term for Tax Fraud

Summary


Even after a Clifton woman was arrested and charged with fraud, authorities said, she posted bail and continued to file fake tax returns.

For that, Rosa M. Castro, was sentenced Friday by Superior Court Judge Randolph Subryan in Paterson to the maximum allowed for her crime: five years in prison. She also was ordered to pay $141,354 in fines.
