Two hundred years after Alexander Hamilton died of gunshot wounds sustained during his duel with Aaron Burr, resolutions were introduced Monday in the House and Senate to honor him.

Hamilton died July 12, 1804, a day after the bitter rivals dueled at dawn in Weehawken.
