MAYWOOD -- Crews were expected to finish repairing the last of three water main breaks at Maywood and Central avenues overnight, restoring service to about 20 residential customers by early this morning, a United Water spokesman said late Friday.

Crews finished repairing a 24-inch main at that location around 6 p.m. Friday and were expected to work through the night fixing two ruptures to a separate 6-inch main, said Rich Henning of United Water.
