TRENTON - Doctors and pharmacists are being asked to be more careful with prescriptions after news that an Alzheimer's drug has been confused with a diabetes pill, resulting in at least two deaths.

In a letter posted on the Food and Drug Administration's Web site, officials with the Janssen Pharmaceutica Products said their drug, Reminyl, has been mixed up with Amaryl, an Aventis Pharmaceuticals product used to treat Type 2 diabetes.
