Vietnam veterans from North Jersey are using their postwar experiences to aid soldiers returning from Iraq helping them navigate a complex medical system, organizing welcome home parties and raising money for the families they leave behind.

Veterans of the war in Southeast Asia, like Bob Arbasetti, 61, of Bogota, are accompanying wounded soldiers to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, something nobody did for them three decades ago.
