Summary


David Copperfield has walked through the Great Wall of China and made the Statue of Liberty disappear. He's won Emmy Awards, been knighted by the French government and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Not bad for a kid from Metuchen.

Now Copperfield, between lengthy stints at the MGM in Las Vegas, is crisscrossing the country with his latest show, "An Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion," during which he makes audience members vanish, predicts winning lottery numbers and performs with a lethal black African scorpion. Among his many stops? A home-state, one- day, two-show engagement at the State Theater in New Brunswick.
