PARAMUS - One of the borough's main thoroughfares was shut down for more than eight hours Friday after a tractor-trailer struck a utility pole.
Police were looking for the hit-and-run driver who smacked into the pole, causing it and the power lines attached to it to topple. Paramus Road and Glen Avenue were closed for about eight hours while crews repaired the lines.See the full content of this document
