Summary
I'm continually awestruck by the alpine ranges I ski. But I've never seen mountains like these. The rock formations explode off the peaks with a powerful, thunderous exclamation. The skiing isn't exactly my cup of tea -- all groomed and, in a somewhat sparse natural snow year, hardpack. But, the dazzling visual array deters disappointment.
