HALEDON -- Mary Tidwell Caporossi, a founder of the Haledon Library and a dedicated community volunteer, died Saturday at an assisted-living facility in Hickory, N.C. She was 95.
Mrs. Caporossi was born in Birmingham, Ala., and moved to Haledon in the late 1930s with her husband, Angelo. The couple raised their children and lived in the borough until 1969, when they moved to South Carolina.See the full content of this document
