Summary
THE folks at Burger King introduced what they call their Enormous Omelet Sandwich this week, and they ain't lyin'. The hefty sandwich includes three strips of bacon, two eggs, two slices of American cheese and a sausage patty. It weighs in at 730 calories and 47 grams of fat.
The sandwich was met with the usual split in reactions. The lacto- vegan finger-waggers bemoaned the breakfast behemoth, saying that most Americans are overweight already and the Enormous Omelet Sandwich should be penalized for piling on. For instance, Morgan Spurlock, creator of the fast-food-skewering documentary "Super Size Me," was quoted as saying the new breakfast sandwich "should come with a $5-off coupon for your first angioplasty."See the full content of this document
