The coaching matchup for Super Bowl XL couldn't be any closer. Seattle's Mike Holmgren and Pittsburgh's Bill Cowher are concluding their 14th seasons as NFL head coaches. During that time Holmgren, who started in Green Bay in 1992 before moving to the Seahawks following the 1998 season, has a 138-86 regular-season record and an 11-8 postseason mark: 149-94 (.613 winning percentage) in 243 total games. Cowher, who has spent his entire time with the Steelers, is 141-82-1 in the regular season, 11-9 in the playoffs for 152-91-1 (.625) in 244 total games.
