Summary
I'm wary of those flight path display screens on the airplane, the ones with the little plane making its way jerkily across a screen full of pixels, followed by all sorts of information.
I avert my eyes for a couple of reasons. If I feel like I've been in the sardine can for as long as I can stand it and discover, by looking at the screen, that we have 12 hours to go, I might just have to open the emergency door and get out. I also fear I might notice, before the announcement comes, the altitude number dropping precipitously, numbers whirring down from 35,000 feet in some sort of HAL-like joke.See the full content of this document
