The air around Teterboro Airport is polluted, but it's hard to say how much worse it is than in New Jersey's other urban areas, according to a study released Monday.

The study, funded by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission, found that the airport's activities have a "measurable effect" on local air quality. But it also found that data that would quantify the impact are insufficient.
