TENAFLY - There will be a lot of firsts this year for Kurt Hommen, the first-year head coach at Tenafly. Saturday afternoon, he coached in his first defensive struggle, saw his first overtime and came away with his first win.

"It's games like this that show you why you have to tough it out at the end," Hommen said after the Tigers edged BCSL American rival Englewood, 6-0, in overtime. "You work so hard on conditioning, and it showed in the end."
