WHAT'S HAPPENING: The Tenafly borough administrator is retiring at the end of October, less than one month after the chief financial officer's resignation from the borough. Joseph DiGiacomo, 62, will retire effective Nov. 1 after serving in the borough for 12 years.
WHY: After a 35-year tenure in municipal administration, DiGiacomo said it's time to pursue other interests. "I felt the 35- year milestone was a time to reflect on what I've done in the past and what I'd like to do in the future," he said.
