ATLANTIC CITY -- The prevailing feeling before Andre Ward defeated Carl Froch was that the winner of their fight would face Lucian Bute in his next bout to completely determine super middleweight supremacy.
It sounded more likely in the aftermath of Ward's masterful performance against Froch that Bute will battle the loser of the Ward-Froch fight sometime in the first half of 2012. The undefeated Ward doesn't think the unbeaten Bute has earned the right to encounter the winner of Showtime's "Super Six World Boxing Classic," a difficult, double-elimination tournament Ward won by outpointing England's Froch on Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall.See the full content of this document
