RIDGEFIELD Borough leaders want to give residents a little peace and quiet on Sundays and during early morning weekday hours by banning noisy construction and landscaping work.

"This is a quality of life issue affecting the town," said Mayor Anthony R. Suarez. "No one likes getting woken up by contractors working across the street or next door."
