An alert Moonachie police officer chased a truck early Saturday from a warehouse in the borough to Hudson County, where the driver of the truck, which was stolen last month, gave up, police said.

"He finally decided to stop with no accident occurring, no injuries, at a truck stop on Tonnelle Avenue in Jersey City," said Officer John Bussanich, who pursued the vehicle.
