New Jersey laws about police use of Tasers, bean-bag guns and other forms of "less-lethal" force may soon change.

State Attorney General Anne Milgram on Tuesday announced the formation of an advisory panel to review state laws guiding the use of less-lethal force by police. The panel, made up of the state's top lawyers and experts on criminal justice and mental health, will examine circumstances in which law enforcement should be allowed to use ammunition designed to stun or temporarily disable, not kill, people.
