State Agency Seeks to Oust Police Chief

Summary


Human Services officials said Friday that they planned to oust the 84-year-old chief of police for the agency for insubordination and a litany of other offenses including "notoriously disgraceful conduct" and "conduct unbecoming a public employee."

The officials declined to disclose what led them to dismiss the chief of the police force, Raymond J. Brennan, who has battled with the agency much of the past decade, but his daughter called the charges "trumped up."
