Admit it, Mom. Fess up, Dad. At some point you've turned, completely exasperated, to your children and said, "Don't be so dramatic!" But for the next week, theater groups are encouraging kindergartners through high school seniors to be even more dramatic.

Not only can kids attend plays, they can discuss them afterward with the actors, explore the basic elements of playwriting and loosen up while learning theater techniques. Best of all, admission to most events is free for kids during the New Jersey Theatre Alliance's eighth annual Family Week at the Theatre from Saturday through March 13.
