PASSAIC A snowball fight became a knife fight after one group of young adults fought with another group in an empty Grove Street parking lot on Tuesday night, leaving two young Passaic males with slash wounds.

Police said a group of 10 to 15 juveniles and adults were jumping on old mattresses, throwing snowballs and chasing each other in a lot at 195 Grove St. about 9 p.m., a police spokesman, Detective Andy White, said.
