Stop & Shop customers in parts of Bergen and Passaic counties will be able to shop at the supermarket without leaving home.

The Quincy, Mass.-based chain announced Tuesday that it will open a new distribution center in Wanaque next Tuesday to serve local communities, including Ridgewood, Paramus, Fair Lawn, Hawthorne and Saddle River. The service will expand early next year to include Mahwah, Wayne, Westwood and Parsippany.
