Best Buy Stores agreed Monday to pay $133,500 to New Jersey and to make restitution to some customers in settling more than 200 complaints that it engaged in deceptive advertising.
In signing what is known as an assurance of voluntary compliance, the Minneapolis-based retailer also agreed to make sale conditions and limitations clear in its advertising and to refrain from using type, illustrations, or color in the advertising to obscure any material facts about special conditions.See the full content of this document
