PARAMUS Authorities continued to search Tuesday for two men who led police on a chase from the Garden State Plaza in Paramus and over the George Washington Bridge before abandoning their SUV in Manhattan.
The white Chevrolet Suburban struck a Paramus police cruiser twice, once near the Central Avenue rail crossing in Hackensack and again on eastbound Route 4, near the Belle Avenue exit in Teaneck, said Paramus Police Chief Richard Cary. Officer Elliot Colon was treated for a minor back injury at Hackensack University Medical Center and released Monday night, Cary said.See the full content of this document
