RUTHERFORD - Even with an expected increase of 111 new students and the expansion of three schools next school year, the school board hopes to keep its proposed budget level.

District Business Administrator Robert Brown said during a workshop meeting Monday evening the district would be able to accommodate all the new students and the cost of hiring a new principal, even under the constraints of state-imposed spending limits.
