RIDGEWOOD - Water rates are slated to jump 16 percent, because of diminished demand during last year's soggy summer, village officials say.
The increase, effective June 1, was caused by a 9 percent drop in consumption in 2003 - the third-wettest year on record in the state, Village Manager James Ten Hoeve said.See the full content of this document
