Although Easter and Passover are behind us, there is a kosher Passover beer made locally that may be of interest to some beyond this holiday season.

Passover Honey Lager, brewed at Ramapo Valley Brewery, just beyond the New Jersey border in Suffern, N.Y., is a gluten-free beer. Grains are forbidden for Jews during Passover, and this product is brewed with honey, molasses, hops, and a special yeast. It also could appeal to celiac disease sufferers, who must adhere to a gluten-free diet.
