GREENBURGH, N.Y. - Brad Richards, asked whether the Rangers were feeling any panic about their less-than-stellar start, wanted to make one thing clear.

"You used the word, 'panic,' I'm not going to use it," Richards said after Sunday's practice. "Definitely nothing like that. We've played two games at home, seven on the road. We're looking at an opportunity on this [six-game] homestand to get ourselves back above .500, well above .500 and then we'll settle into a normal NHL season."
