Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. reported a 62 percent jump in first-quarter profit, with its power generation and regulated utility cashing in on higher prices.
The Newark-based parent of Public Service Electric and Gas Co. reported net income rose to $329 million, or $1.30 a share, on sales of $3.61 billion.
