WAYNE -- Police have identified a young girl injured Thursday evening when her hand and wrist were caught in an escalator at the Wayne Towne Center.

Three-year-old Jasmine Gonzalez of Passaic was shopping with her mother and father about 6:45 p.m. when she rode the escalator to the second floor of the J.C. Penney store, acting Police Chief John Reardon said.
