Don Kennedy, the winningest men's basketball coach in St. Peter's College history and a Hudson County legend, died Tuesday at home in Garnerville, N.Y. He was 97.

He coached St. Peter's from 1950-72, compiling a record of 362- 165 and six trips to the National Invitational Tournament.
