PEQUANNOCK -- Four township employees were recently notified they will lose their jobs at the end of the year as a result of future budget projections.
The township was forced to make the layoffs to comply with a new, state imposed limit on annual increases in the tax levy to 4 percent, township manager Kevin Boyle said. The deputy township clerk, the network administrator, a park ranger and a public works employee were recently notified they would be laid off as of Dec. 31, township officials said.See the full content of this document
