PATERSON -- Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr. vowed Monday to find out exactly why a long-standing Memorial Day ceremony honoring veterans at the main post office on Ward Street was canceled.
Pascrell said he plans to call Postmaster Timothy Kennedy to find out why the morning event, which usually kicks off the city's Memorial Day ceremonies, was canceled with such short notice.
