PARAMUS A dogcatcher piled onto the borough's lawsuit bandwagon last month when he accused officials of wrongfully firing him from his job as an animal control officer.

Kevin Lovell claims his supervisors provided no reason for terminating his employment and wants pay for the time he hasn't worked since being fired. The town officially let him go last year, but Lovell had been suspended without pay from his more than $55,000 a year job several months before that.
