PALISADES PARK - A borough police officer was critically injured Tuesday morning on his way to work after he lost control of his motorcycle, police said.
Marc Messing, 25, whose mother is Borough Councilwoman Cynthia Pirrera, suffered serious head injuries in the accident, said Police Chief Michael Vietri. He was airlifted to University Hospital in Newark, where he underwent surgery late Tuesday morning, Vietri said.See the full content of this document
