PEQUANNOCK - The Township Council adopted an ordinance Tuesday night that aims to keep cellphone towers out of residential neighborhoods.
The measure, approved unanimously, directs new cellular phone antennas onto existing towers; if that's not possible, the zoning would allow towers in commercial districts or on township-owned land. Applications would still have to go through a hearing process.See the full content of this document
