Summary
As a volunteer at the Bergen County Animal Shelter, I have devoted weekends for three years and have become a mother to two of its former inhabitants. I am heartbroken with the events taking place there.
Friends of the County Animal Shelter has been in existence for 20 years. The organization has made great strides in conjunction with the BCAS to improve adoptions, keep the animals socialized, provide funding for special needs, and generally help maintain a humane environment for all the animals.
