HACKENSACK -- A police officer who is the subject of an internal affairs hearing was not allowed to speak to his attorney when he was ordered to turn over a home computer, the captain conducting the probe testified Thursday.
Capt. Danilo Garcia told Police Officer Anthony Ferraioli that if his attorney were present, he would have been "just as an observer," a video recording of the interview shows. When questioned about his decision Thursday at Ferraioli's disciplinary hearing, Garcia testified that allowing the officer to contact his lawyer "would delay the interview."See the full content of this document
