They go into the NBA's final four days one game behind Cleveland for the East's last playoff spot and trailing seventh-place Philadelphia by two. The Cavaliers, who have lost 18-of-27, play at Detroit today. A Cleveland loss and a Nets' win would put New Jersey all alone in eighth place. They hold the tiebreaker over Cleveland.
