NORTH HALEDON - Police Chief Joseph Ferrante was named chief of the year by the New Jersey DARE program at the New Jersey Association of Chiefs of Police annual conference in Atlantic City last week.
The Drug Abuse Resistance Education program received nominations for chiefs from throughout the state and chose Ferrante based on his strong letters of recommendation, a DARE official said.See the full content of this document
