TWO FOR THE MONEY (2005, Universal, R, $30) The ingredients are there: "Salton Sea" captain D.J. Caruso directs Al Pacino and Matthew McConaughey in a film set in the world of sports-betting. Yet somehow this gamble doesn't pay off. Pacino rants, McConaughey takes off his shirt, but sports-betting, it turns out, is a very dull business.
