I DON'T KNOW about you, but I don't plan to watch Katie Couric's ascendancy as top newsreader at CBS Sept. 5, nor do I plan to download it on my computer. I am not interested.

I have no interest in watching Brian Williams on NBC or Charles Gibson on ABC read news to me either. I, along with a lot of other folks under the age of 55, don't watch what was once the crown jewel of network news, the "CBS Evening News."
