Despite falling short of its ultimate goal of reaching the State final, West Milford can take solace in the fact that for the second straight year, it placed three players on The Associated Press All- State softball team, including two on the first team.

The Highlanders, who finished 25-5 and reached the Group 3 State semifinals, were powered by first baseman Danielle Masters, who was named to the first team in back-to-back seasons. She finished the season batting .420 with 29 hits.
