Summary
Sitting by the base lodge fire recently, some friends and I fantasized about the amenities we'd like to see implemented at ski resorts. Here's our short list.
NAP ROOMS: I'm a big fan of siesta, and after skiing hard all morning, I'd pay for an apres-lunch rest -- as you can do in sleep pods at airports such as Vancouver International. According to the Los Angeles Times, "The pods are recliners equipped with privacy hoods and speakers that produce soft ocean sounds to deaden outside noise."
