Exhausted from the four basketball games in four days that just earned his Syracuse team a wholly unexpected Big East tournament title, McNamara was invigorated by what he and his team had just accomplished. With another monumentally important shot to help his team win, this time defeating Pittsburgh, 65-61, McNamara punctuated perhaps the best four-day run by a player in tournament history.
