ENGLEWOOD -- A new math curriculum and programs to improve student behavior and increase parent outreach are among the changes being rolled out at the district's elementary schools this year.

The three elementary school principals made presentations on the start of the school year at Thursday's Board of Education meeting, including releasing the results of last year's state tests and efforts to boost scores this year. The biggest improvements were in third and fifth grade mathematics.
