Man Gets 70 Months for Perfume Heist Role

Summary


A New York man who oversaw the removal of hundreds of boxes of luxury perfumes and cologne during last year's armed robbery at the In Style USA warehouse in Carlstadt was sentenced Wednesday to 70 months in federal prison.

U.S. District Judge William H. Walls imposed the punishment on Luis Morales, 33, of Brooklyn, a garbage truck driver, describing him as one of "a group of thugs" who staged the Feb. 9 holdup.
